When a step fails
When a step fails, Auprimus works on that step. The steps that already succeeded keep their results.
What happens
The step retries with the error
Auprimus reads the error and rewrites the step's code to fix it. A fix that works is saved as a new repaired version of the script.
The plan changes if it must
If the step cannot work as planned, for example because a table does not exist, Auprimus may replan the affected part of the workflow. You see this as Replan triggered.
You see where and why
A step that still fails is marked failed in the DAG tab. Its console shows the logs and the error, so you can see exactly where it stopped.
What you can do
- Answer in the chatTell Auprimus what was wrong, such as the right table or a missing rule.
- Fix the code yourselfEdit the step's script in the Scripts tab. See Scripts and replay.
- Check the connectionMany failures are credentials or access. See Common errors.
NoteTurn on the Step failed and Workflow re-planned alerts in Guardrails, on the Alerts tab, to hear about failures without watching the run.
